Our Story

We have been friends for almost three decades. Grew up in different parts of India, met in college and now have lived in America for over 20 years. In this time along with furthering our chosen corporate careers, we also took several trips together. We were drawn to the natural wonders of our land and often chose adventures exploring the outdoors. We also became mothers around same time and have shared the commitment to encourage similar love for nature in our daughters.

This Native American saying struck a strong chord with us, “We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.”

We believe restoring mother nature's balance should be the most urgent and critical agenda for our generation. And that multitude of small actions go farther than any one solve.

We are now coming together to join numerous other planet warriors to embark on this venture called "mireka".

Inspired by our childhood, our first offering is creating attractive stainless steel tumblers that has been a staple for generations in the east. By providing attractive designs at approachable prices, we can do our bit to further eliminate plastic.
